Emmanuela is an independent graphic designer with over fifteen years experience working in the luxury beauty and fashion industries. Her expertise is brand development, product and package design, and advertising. Emmanuela was most recently Creative Brand Director for the luxury lifestyle brand AERIN, and she has also designed for the brands NARS cosmetics, Marc Jacobs, Sarah Jessica Parker, Tom Ford, Jill Sander, and Michael Kors. Emmanuela previously held positions at Estée Lauder, COTY, and Baron & Baron Inc, and she is an Honors graduate from the Parsons School of Design.

Jess is an artist-researcher who crafts conceptual objects under the name B-PLOT. With backgrounds across design, craft, and the humanities, she works at the intersections of architecture, material, and text. In recent past lives, Jess developed and taught Urban Media Labs around the topics of strangers, traffic, and waste at The New School, and she ran a residency program at Van Alen Institute for experiments in public architecture. Her teaching and research have been supported by The Mellon Foundation, the Getty Research Institute, The New School Green Fund, and the Smithsonian Institution. She has a Ph.D. in cultural studies and critical theory, a vintage Bernina 830, three boys, and a dog named after Djuna Barnes.
